Should I Only Use Genuine Parts?
Ideally using genuine parts is the best way to ensure your printer will last a long time. Using third-party or unbranded printer parts can and most likely will lead to a faulty device. In some instances, third-party products can be interchanged between different model printers. This is highly risky and will void any warranty.
What's The Difference?
While many aftermarket parts claim to be compatible with a wide range of printer models, there can be variations in design that lead to inefficiencies, malfunctions, or even damage to the printer. It’s essential to carefully research and select compatible parts that are specifically designed for your printer model to ensure optimal compatibility and performance.
Even With Ink?
Especially with ink! The majority of unbranded or fake branded ink cartridges out there will at the very least give you poor print results. And will most likely result in your printhead failing in record time. We’ve performed countless tests against many competing ink cartridge suppliers. In the end, you get what you pay for.
The only ink supplier we recommend using for refillable or third-party CISS systems is Precision Inks based out of Canada. They use genuine cartridges with their high quality proprietary ink.
